We are excited and greatly honored to host the prestigious biennial World Meeting of the International Society for Research on Aggression (ISRA) in Luxembourg 2012.
The scientific program of this meeting will reflect the dynamics and diversity of current worldwide research on aggression, which are of major importance with regard to both academia and society. In particular, several invited talks and a public lecture will add to the top-level scientific program. You may download the ISRA 2012 conference program here (Adobe PDF document).
We are proud and honored to announce that James Blair (National Institute of Mental Health), Miles Hewstone (University of Oxford) and Randy Nelson (Ohio State University) have already confirmed their participation as keynote speakers!
Two pre-conferences will serve as additional highlights:
- The workshop for Young Investigators intends to encourage and help people who are beginning their careers in aggression research - limited stipends for travel and meeting expenses will be available!
- The XVII. Workshop Aggression is an excellent opportunity to participate in the annual meeting of German-speaking aggression researchers. It aims particularly at discussing recent ideas and work-in-progress (Workshop language will be English).
In addition, other activities will also be integral part of the conference. These activities comprise the gala banquet, as well as guided city tours and other joint events, which will take place in Luxembourg and its greater region—France, Germany, and Belgium are all just within a 30 to 40-minutes drive!
Together with the broad range of social and communication activities, we are convinced this scientific world meeting will serve as an inspiring source for all attendees taking place in the very heart of Europe.
We are very much looking forward to welcoming you in Luxembourg!
André Melzer and Georges Steffgen
